Shipping and Deliveries

When will I receive my order?

While we make every effort to process and ship your items as soon as possible, our products are handcrafted at time of purchase. Therefore, orders normally take 2-3 business days to process. Once it is processed shipping times may vary, however, we use FedEx Express Saver which typically arrives within 3 days. We cannot guarantee FedEx delivery schedules.

Can I change my order after it is placed?

Orders are sent directly to fulfillment and cannot be changed after confirmation.

Can I get my order delivered the same day?

Unfortunately, no. Because our products are handcrafted at time of purchase, most orders will take 2-3 business days to create. You can choose FedEx overnight expedited shipping at checkout, but please allow 2-3 days for processing.

What are my shipping options and rates?

Rates are based on FedEx published rates. We do not ship ground, as live plants may not survive the long journey. Our standard option is FedEx Express Saver, which normally takes 3 days. You can also choose to expedite your order at checkout by selecting FedEx Standard Overnight®, or FedEx 2Day®.

Will my orders be shipped in the same box?

To ensure the best possible care, each plant is shipped and packaged individually.

Can my order be shipped to more than one address?

Since each plant is shipped individually, separate orders need to be created for each delivery address.

Can my order be shipped to a PO Box?

Unfortunately, FedEx does not ship to PO boxes. We can only delivery to addresses that FedEx services.

Can I recycle the packing materials?

All void packaging material is recyclable. The starch foam it is made of just needs water to dissolve in your sink. Other materials can be recycled through normal paper and cardboard means.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship across the Continental US—excluding Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico—due to strict state regulations on live goods.

How do I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.

Winter Shipments

Is my order protected from the cold weather?

We include a surcharge during winter months to cover heat packs we add to packages to protect each plant. Please ensure that once delivered, your package is not left out long as our heat packs only offer protection throughout the shipping time.

Will my order be received before Christmas?

To ensure delivery by Christmas, orders must be placed by December 15th.

What is your policy for shipping to cold climates?

We include a $5.00 surcharge to cover the heat packs we send with each plant.

Returns and Replacements

Can I return my plant?

While all sales are final, we treat each request on a case-by-case basis. You will need to submit pictures, and if an issue was caused on our end, we will make it right by sending a replacement or reimbursement.

Can I get a replacement?

If it is determined that there was a problem with the plant due to shipping or our mistake, we will be happy to replace it.

Can I return accessories?

While all sales are final, we treat each request on a case-by-case basis. You will need to submit pictures, and if an issue was caused on our end, we will make it right by sending a replacement or reimbursement.

What if my order was damaged?

Please contact orders@livetrends.com to submit a replacement request.

Gifts

Can I add a gift message to the order?

Yes, you have the option to create a gift message during checkout.

Will the recipient see the price?

No, we do not include any pricing on our packing slips.

Will the recipient be able to track the order?

Once available, tracking numbers will be sent to the email associated with the account that completed the purchase.

Do you offer gift cards?

We do not offer gift cards at this time but hope to have them soon.

Orders and Discounts

When will my order ship?

Why does my plant look different than the website?

No two plants are alike, but we have strict quality guidelines and ensure that they will be the same size and quality as depicted on the site.

My promo code does not work, what can I do?

Please check the validity, expiration, and spelling/syntax of your promo code. If you are still having issues, please contact support at orders@livetrends.com.

What payment methods do you offer?

We accept Apple Pay, Paypal and all major credit cards.

Why does my order have tax?

We are required by law to collect tax on some orders. Tax laws vary by state. Please refer to your state regulations if you have questions.

Can I order in bulk or large quantities?

What are the restrictions for creating a wholesale account?

All wholesale providers must supply a tax resale certification and speak to a customer care specialist to complete the application process.

Are there limitations to what I can purchase as a wholesaler?

Yes, state regulations put a set limit on the amount of items you can purchase at one time. We also have some customer-specific items that cannot be sold by other vendors. For more information, please contact hello@livetrends.com.

How do I place an order?

Plants and Materials

How will my plant be shipped?

Each plant is shipped in recyclable packaging including starch foam, corrugated bubble wrap, and other paper-based materials.

 

How do I get help on caring for my plant?

Do I need to repot my plant?

We suggest repotting your plant when you see roots coming through the bottom and that you only repot at the start of the growing season, in the early spring – going up a couple of inches in planter diameter. Please note that repotting can cause shock to your plant as they adjust to their new environment. Take extra care not to damage the roots during this process.
