The Calandiva thrives in bright, indirect light. Place your plant near a window where it can receive ample sunlight, but avoid direct exposure to intense sunlight which may scorch the leaves.

Water your Calandiva sparingly, allowing the soil to fully dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so err on the side of underwatering rather than overwatering. Check soil moisture regularly and adjust watering schedule as needed to prevent root rot. Reduce watering frequency during the winter months when growth slows down.

Calandiva prefers temperatures between 60°F to 75°F (15°C to 24°C). Protect the plant from temperatures below 50°F (10°C), as prolonged exposure to cold can damage the foliage and inhibit growth.

Feed your Calandiva with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer diluted to half strength during the growing season (spring and summer) approximately once every 4 to 6 weeks. Avoid fertilizing during the dormant period in fall and winter.
